This is my entry for the Quixel Mixer contest. It was done in Unreal Engine and I worked on it around a week, mostly in the evenings and one weekend. It was my first time working with Unreal Engine, i'm still learning it. I have to say I am impressed by the render quality/speed, I've been using only raytracing engines(Octane, Redshift, Vray) to render out animations and this was my first time using a real time engine. In the end I rendered ~3000 frames at 4k in one hour and I'm pretty sure it can be optimized. The textures from Megascans and the ones created in QuixelMixer are the whole magic behind this animation.
